Residential Services
Program
Woodfords’ Residential Services Program offers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in a supportive home setting staffed by Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Woodfords understands that people need more than just a place to live – they need a place to feel supported and call their home. Woodfords’ residential consumers typically live with one or two roommates. Staff work with the consumers, their families, and other service providers to promote independence and community inclusion. The continued participation of family and friends in the lives of consumers is an important part of residential placement outside of the home.
Service Area
The Residential Services Program operates residences in Cumberland and York Counties.
Eligibility & Referrals
Adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities who qualify for Section 21 services through the Maine Department of Health and Human Services are eligible for these services based on program availability.
