Home-Based Early Intervention Services
Program
Woodfords’ Westbrook Early Childhood Services Program provides Home-Based Early Intervention Services for children age birth - three in partnership with Child Development Services (CDS). Home-Based Early Intervention Services include the Early Start Maine and the Parent Early Start Maine model as well as individual parent coaching. Services are provided to young children that have been deemed appropriate by Child Development Services (CDS). Early Start Maine is an adaptation of the evidence-based Early Start Denver Model which is rooted in and incorporates the principles and practices of Applied Behavioral Analysis as well as supporting development thorough play and daily routines.
Service Area
Woodfords’ Home-Based Early Intervention services are provided in the Greater Portland area in conjunction with area Child Development Services (CDS) locations.
Eligibility & Referrals
The Home-Based Early Intervention Services Program serves young children age birth - three with autism or those with developmental delays, eligibility and referrals for the program are coordinated through Child Development Services (CDS).
