  • BHP 35 Hour In-Person Training

    Duration:  4 days: 1/10,& 1/17, 1/24, 1/31/25, 9am-6pm

    Course Description: This is a 4 day training and attendance at all 4 days is required for certification. Participants must have their Provisional BHP Certificate and hold current Child & Adult CPR/First Aid as well as have proof of completion of an OSHA-compliant Bloodborne pathogens training within the last year. Payment and certificates must be submitted to register.

  • VIRTUAL BHP LIVE DAY

    Course Description: This is a blended learning curriculum with 12 online modules and 9 hours of in-class, instructor-led training. Participants must successfully complete all 12 online modules no later than 4 days prior to the Live Day session in order to be granted admittance. Completion of an OSHA-compliant Bloodborne pathogens training and current Adult & Child CPR and First Aid certification are also required for BHP certification.     The following is required to enroll in a Virtual BHP Live Day session:

    – you must pre-register through the BHP Relias LMS.

    – computer with audio (a headset/earbuds recommended).

    – strong internet connection.

    – Adobe Connect – a link and instructions will be emailed one week prior to class.

  • Shared Living Medication Administration

    The Shared Living Medication Administration course is designed for people administering medications in Shared Living or Family-Centered Home Support settings funded under MaineCare section 21. The course is for the primary home provider as well as any others who administer medication only to the people living in the home. Anyone who is paid to administer medications in other settings is not eligible to take this course. This certification is valid for 2 years. Cost: $125

    Virtual Classes – participants must have high-speed internet connection and a device with 2-way audio and video connection. Laptop or desktop computer preferred.

    Enrollment deadline: 1 week prior to class.

  • Shared Living Medication Administration – Recertification

    The Shared Living Medication Administration Recertification course is designed for people who were previously certified to administer medications in Shared Living or Family-Centered Home Support settings funded under MaineCare section 21 and need to recertify. Recertification is required every 2 years. Advanced registration required. Due to the need to mail materials prior, there is an enrollment deadline for virtual sessions. Please register at least one week prior to any virtual session date. Participants must have high-speed internet connection with two-way audio and video to attend. Cost: $65.
