Safety-Care for Families – Advanced Skills

Prerequisites: Safety-Care for Families – Essential Skills and Safety-Care for Families – Intermediate Skills

This class is intended for parents/caregivers/family members, and is only available to families receiving services through Woodfords, or families receiving services through agencies that are working closely with Woodfords. Advanced Skills topics include: emergency physical intervention, one-person stability hold, two-person stability hold (optional), releasing from stability hold, recovery and debriefing.

This course requires a referral form signed by a state-licensed social worker, BCBA, psychologist or physician.

The course is free to families currently receiving services through Woodfords. The fee for other eligible participants is $25.
